Additional Info

Azatin® O is a powerful, broad-spectrum botanical insecticide and insect growth regulator (IGR) formulated with 4.5% azadirachtin, a naturally occurring compound extracted from neem tree seeds. This high-quality formulation delivers 175 grams of active azadirachtin per gallon, providing consistent, effective control of many of the most damaging chewing and sucking insect pests. OMRI-listed for use in organic production, Azatin O is suitable for both organic and conventional growing systems and integrates seamlessly into biological and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.

Azatin O works by disrupting the normal growth and development of insect larvae and nymphs. When target pests ingest or come into contact with the product, azadirachtin interferes with their ability to molt, preventing them from progressing to the next life stage and ultimately leading to population collapse. While the product primarily affects immature stages, treated insects may also die during pupation, and feeding deterrence occurs across all life stages. This multi-mode action makes Azatin O especially effective at reducing pest pressure while minimizing the risk of resistance development.

One of the key advantages of Azatin O is its selectivity and safety profile. It has minimal impact on beneficial insects and predatory mites when used according to label directions and poses no hazard to mammals or birds. With a 4-hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI) and a 0-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI), it offers flexibility for growers who need rapid re-entry and harvest. Azatin O can be used on a wide range of edible and non-edible crops, including vegetables, fruits, herbs, ornamentals, turf, trees, and shrubs, in soil-based, soilless, and hydroponic systems.

Azatin O provides effective suppression of numerous pests, including aphids, thrips, whiteflies, fungus gnats, caterpillars, beetle larvae, leafminers, mealybugs, scale insects, psyllids, weevils, and many moth and fly larvae. It may also help suppress nematode populations. Whether used preventatively or as part of an active pest management strategy, Azatin O delivers reliable, plant-friendly control and is an excellent tool for growers seeking sustainable, biologically compatible insect management solutions.
