Ecomask® is our recommended biological control for fleas and is especially well suited for hot and dry climates, where other nematode species may be less effective. Containing Steinernema carpocapsae, Ecomask targets surface-dwelling and mobile insect pests, making it ideal for lawns, landscapes, gardens, kennels, and agricultural settings with persistent flea pressure.
Ecomask Spray is easy to apply using the Nema-Jet Sprayer, watering cans, pressure sprayers, or injection systems, allowing for flexible use across a wide range of environments. These naturally occurring, insect-parasitizing nematodes actively seek out and infect pests, providing powerful, chemical-free control that integrates seamlessly into IPM programs.

Application Instructions
Mix Ecomask contents with cold water and allow to sit for 15 minutes
Water the treatment area before and after application
Remove any screens or filters from sprayers prior to use
Apply using a coarse spray, agitating periodically to keep nematodes suspended
Storage & Shelf Life
Shelf life: 1 month
Storage: Refrigerate at 38°F (3°C) to maintain full potency until the marked expiration date
Safety
Ecomask nematodes are safe for people, plants, pets, and beneficial organisms, including bees, earthworms, and lady beetles. While non-toxic, the inert carrier is not intended for consumption and may cause digestive upset if ingested. Keep out of reach of children.
